A4 Single Sided Folders
First impressions are important and our custom printed A4 single sided folders will help make yours a great one.
A4 single sided folders printing options
Our custom single sided folders are printed on 350gsm silk paper as standard, however we also offer a wide variety of alternative materials to best suit your design and usage. Opt for Uncoated or Premium Uncoated paper (easiest to write on) or Gloss paper (for a sheen). All our paper is FSC accredited and recyclable, but you can also choose Recycled or Kraft papers for an extra eco-friendly folder. Kraft paper is browner in hue as it hasn’t undergone bleaching; it’s also recycled and recyclable, making it the greenest choice!
For extra durability and finish, you can add one of our laminations to your single sided folder. Choose from Matt, Gloss, Silk or Soft Touch lamination (providing a luxurious velvety feel).
For truly eye-catching custom folders, why not opt for one of our attention-grabbing finishing options? Choose Spot UV or foiling (choose from 10 colours to best match your aesthetic) to highlight your business name, logo or contact information. And for a truly individual folder think outside of the (rectangular) box and create your very own bespoke shape. With die cutting technology we can produce die cut folders in almost any shape imaginable!
Create your own A4 single sided folder design using our free, downloadable A4 folder templates or take advantage of our in house design services.

What’s the difference between interlocking and glued?
This refers to the way pockets are secured to the folders.
Glued have a strip of tape on a flap that is then folded and stuck to the back page to make the pocket.
Interlocking has a slotted mechanism that requires no tape to form the pocket.
Glued is a more secure finish but has a longer production time and higher cost due to the extra process.
Can I have a brochure stitched into the folder?
Can I have more than one pocket in my folder?
Yes, we can add a 2nd pocket to the inside front cover – call us for a price.
Can I have a vertical pocket instead of horizontal?
Yes – call us for a price.
Can you print the sheets I want to insert into the folder?
Can you supply my folders with the printed inserts already inserted into the pocket?
Yes, call us for a price.
What’s the benefit of adding lamination?
Lamination will add strength to the folder and will ensure there is no cracking on the folded areas (spine and pocket). If you have a solid colour on your folder then lamination is essential.
What does capacity and non-capacity mean?
How do I layout my artwork on the template?
As you look at the template, the right hand panel will be the front cover of the folder and the left hand panel which has the pocket beneath will be the back cover – the cover folds up and sticks to the inside of the back page.
If you’re folder will be double sided you’ll need to flip the template over so that the pocket is now below the right hand panel. This will be the inside of the back page and the left hand panel will be the inside of the front cover.
