Create your own bespoke A4 double sided folders and make a strong first impression.
A4 double sided folders printing options
Our custom A4 folders are printed on 350gsm silk paper as standard, however we also offer a wide variety of materials to best suit your design and usage needs. Choose Uncoated or Premium Uncoated paper for easy-to-write-on options, Gloss paper for a slight sheen, or Recycled or Kraft papers, for a truly environmentally friendly folder.
We can print in full CMYK colour, black and white or Pantone – which will allow us to match colours precisely. Pantone is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a very particular shade to match your logo and branding.
For extra durability and finish, you can opt for one of our laminations (one side or both sides of your folder). Choose from Matt, Gloss, Silk or Soft Touch lamination (the latter providing a luxurious velvety feel).
And if you’re trying to impress with your custom folders, why not choose one of our attention-grabbing finishing options? Use Spot UV or foiling (choose from 10 colours to best match your branding) to highlight your company name, logo or contact information. And for a truly unique folder think outside of the (rectangular) box and create your very own bespoke shape; with the latest die cutting technology we can produce die cut folders in virtually any shape imaginable!
Create your own A4 folders design using our free, downloadable A4 folder templates or take advantage of our in house design services.
⚠ PLEASE NOTE: Folders with solid colour coverage to the outside must be gloss or matt laminated to avoid cracking and marking!

What’s the difference between interlocking and glued?
This refers to the way pockets are secured to the folders.
Glued have a strip of tape on a flap that is then folded and stuck to the back page to make the pocket.
Interlocking has a slotted mechanism that requires no tape to form the pocket.
Glued is a more secure finish but has a longer production time and higher cost due to the extra process.
Can I have a brochure stitched into an a4 folder?
Can I have more than one pocket in my a4 folder?
Yes, we can add a 2nd pocket to the inside front cover – call us for a price.
Can I have a vertical pocket instead of a horizontal one?
Yes – call us for a price.
Can you print the sheets I want to insert into the folder?
What is a pantone colour?
When printing from a 4 colour process it’s possible for colours to vary slightly between print runs. A pantone colour (also referred to as a spot colour) is a specially mixed ink. By using a pantone colour you can be sure that the colour will be spot on. This may be important for your company logo for instance.
Can you supply my folders with the printed inserts already inserted into the pocket?
Yes, call us for a price.
What’s the benefit of adding lamination?
Lamination will add strength to the folder and will ensure there is no cracking on the folded areas (spine and pocket). If you have a solid colour on your folder then lamination is essential.
What does capacity and non-capacity mean?
How do I layout my artwork on the template?
As you look at the template, the right hand panel will be the front cover of the folder and the left hand panel which has the pocket beneath will be the back cover – the cover folds up and sticks to the inside of the back page.
If you’re folder will be double sided you’ll need to flip the template over so that the pocket is now below the right hand panel. This will be the inside of the back page and the left hand panel will be the inside of the front cover.
