Description

Booklet Menu Printing

Give your dishes and drinks room to shine with booklet menus that are easy to browse and comfortable to hold. With up to 80 pages, there’s space for everything from starters and seasonal specials to wine lists and cocktails.

Menus Built for Real Service

Menus get passed around, splashed and stacked between services, so your choice of paper and finish matters as much as the design.

Choose from four paper stocks to suit your venue:

  • Silk: rich colour with low glare.
  • Gloss: a bright finish that brings food photography to life.
  • Uncoated: a natural, tactile feel for a relaxed or rustic look.
  • Recycled: a textured look with recycled paper content.

Pick A4 or A5 in portrait or landscape, or enter a custom size to suit your table settings or existing menu covers. Print in full colour, choose black-only printing for a simple typographic design, or select Pantone printing for closer control over your brand colours.

Choose Your Finish

Lamination adds a protective layer to the printed surface and changes how your menu looks and feels:

  • Matt: a smooth, understated finish.
  • Gloss: a shiny finish that makes colours and photography stand out.
  • Silk: a subtle sheen between matt and gloss.
  • Soft touch: a velvety feel for a premium presentation.
  • Anti-scuff: added resistance to marks from frequent handling.

For an extra finishing detail, use spot UV to highlight selected areas with shine, or add foiling to draw attention to your logo or menu title.

  1. Pick your print options: choose your paper stock, colour option and finish.

FAQs

What booklet sizes do you offer?
A4 booklet printing is one of the most popular services we offer. However, we can also print A5 booklets. Should you need a different size, just get in touch with the team! Or take a look at our brochure and booklet range.
How are booklets bound?

Our standard booklets are bound together via saddle-stitching. This method assembles brochure pages by first nesting several folded double-leaf spreads on top of each other (starting with the middlemost pages and finishing with the outer cover leaf).

The brochure pages are then stitched together by threading lengths of metal wire (similar to staples) through all pages along the central crease line.

Looking for a different bookbinding method? Better Printing can also provide booklets in perfect bound and wiro bound varieties – call us to discuss your requirements!

How many pages can my booklets have?

You can view our page count options in the table below. Each paper sheet (or ‘leaf’) of your brochure will have two printed pages (pp); one on each side of the paper. Book covers consist of four pages, and are included in addition to the page counts listed in the table below.

Looking for a different page count to the options listed here? Simply call us on 023 8087 8037 to discuss your own bespoke specifications.

Will my booklets be printed via litho printing or digital printing methods?

The right print method will depend on a number of factors; including the product type, quantity and turnaround time you require.

Better Printing can produce your order on either litho or digital, with both available in-house. Our sales team can recommend the most cost-effective solution for your needs and will confirm your preferred method before going to print.

What materials are these products printed on?

Please see the Specification tab for more information on this product’s standard material specification. Alternative stocks and grades can be supplied for most products to help you customise your order – simply get in touch to discuss your print requirements.

How do I select portrait or landscape?

All brochures and booklets are produced in portrait orientation (with the spine located on the longer edge of the booklet) by default. Alternatively, you can specify landscape orientation for your brochures if needed at the checkout stage.

What imposition or page order format should I use for my artwork?

We recommend supplying artwork as single pages in the same order as you want them to appear in the finished programme. Please avoid supplying your artwork in printer’s pairs or double page spreads, as this may extend production times of your print order.

How do I get in touch?
Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us or call on 023 8087 8037.
