FAQs
Will my posters be printed via digital or litho print methods?
We offer both methods, press type is usually determined by the size or quantity, our digital press goes up to a maximum print size of A3 or 420 x 297mm, smaller posters or smaller quantities (eg. under 500) will generally be run digitally, this method is cheaper due to set up costs but the quality is still as good as litho. For posters that are A2 or B2 size or ordered in larger quantiles they will be run on our litho press.
Are these posters suitable for outdoor display?
Our standard posters are best displayed indoors; but Better Printing also offers
outdoor posters printed on 190gsm waterproof, tear proof stock with better protection against the elements.
Which paper stock should I select for my posters? I don’t want them to rip easily.
Adding a lamination will give your posters extra strength or you may want to have a look at our
outdoor posters which are tear-proof.
I would like my posters to be shiny, which lamination should I add for this effect?
Gloss lamination will add a shine to your posters. Matt lamination will dull the print.
